I like to make traditional Christmas Cakes and decorate them so they will bring a smile to your face over Christmas.
Christmas cakes are traditional fruit cakes and as fruit cakes improve with age this means that I like to start making Christmas cakes as early as possible, usually a minimum of around about 2 or 3 months before Christmas.
The reason for this is that I can then “feed” the Christmas cakes to keep them moist and let allt he flavours develop in the Christmas cakes ready for when you chop into on Christmas Day.
Below are some of the festive designs I have done on Christmas cakes and I enjoy experimenting. The cakes can be made small if you wish.
